Can anyone tell me when it’s going to stop raining?! What a country….one week so hot that we can’t breath and the next enough water for even Noah to complain! I do of course have the answer as I’ve just been talking to my Thai friend in Koh Samui….it’s 11 at night and the temperature is a balmy 29C….that’s 84F for all us oldies….with a glorious sea breeze coming in off the gulf of Thailand. Sitting in the sun on centre court at wimbledon reminds me of lazing on the beach in Thailand last week……just the same except no strawberries in Thailand. Just returned from an amazing 10days in Thailand…spent 3days in Bangkok and a week in Phuket….money went further than ever and the locals making light of Gordon’s “global credit crunch”. How everyone can be so friendly and hospitable is something we all ought to buy into! Everything such good value and service to die for……..perfect way to spend time away from all our doom and gloom.
